EDITOR – CREATOR OF INTERIOR FABRICS

LE PETIT JOURNAL / NEWSLETTER
SEPTEMBER 2006

In this house opening out onto nature, the BERNARD et THAVE Architectes workshop has used BISSON BRUNEELfabrics.

They have played on the overlapping of veils to soften the light and shield residents from unwanted looks.
A large, silky veiling in warm tones is drawn across the entire length of the living room
in order to hide openings and radiators, and creates a very cosy atmosphere at night.

The BERNARD et THAVE workshop has rethought all the volumes in this house, and designed or chosen all the furniture.
The richness of nuances of the veiling plays off the variety of noble materials found in the floor and furniture:
bleached oak, brushed stainless steel, leather, stone or glass.

The kitchen is accessible from both the living room and garden.
The presence of the same amber blinds and veils creates a convivial space linked to the other living areas.
